The Winnipeg High School Football League proudly announces its first Athlete Combine post Pandemic. Presented by Football Manitoba, the Governing Body for Football in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. This combine is open to all athletes of High School Age.

The combine will be run by the team at Sport Manitoba, led by Jeff Wood, Sport Manitoba’s Performance Manager. He has over 20 years of high level sport performance experience, over all sports training, with all types and ages of Athletes, from World Champions to Stanley Cup Champions. 

Athletes will test themselves on football specific combine drills, with cutting edge technology to time, track and record their results, which will be posted for their future reference, along with bench marking their progress.

The Combine is based on a cost neutral model of 205 athletes, allowing for the cost of facility rental, equipment, evaluation staff along with each athlete receiving a co-branded WHSFL/Football Manitoba Sleeveless Combine Tee with the cost of $50.00 per athlete.

This year’s Combine will take place Sunday, December 1st, at the University of Winnipeg RecPlex. Athletes will be placed in one of three sessions, 12:00, 1:20, or 2:40.

Registration will stay open as long as space is available.

The Combine is open to all athletes, regardless of if they play in the WHSFL or not.

Each Athlete will be tested on the following events:

● 40 Yard Dash

● Pro Agility Shuttle

● L-Agility

● 60 Yard Shuttle Run

● Vertical Jump

● Standing Broad Jump

Starting this combine, top score/results will be posted on the WHSFL website as part of their League Records.
